So do you get the after Christmas blues??? I find January and February to always be my toughest months. It does feel good that the pace slows for a bit but I do miss the anticipation of the holidays.

I usually do get a little sad after we take the tree down.  I used to like to leave it up until mid January (Ukranian Christmas was the excuse!), but this year it's going to come down on New Year's day.  DS2 is just at it all the time.  Thankfully, we are very busy that I won't have much of a chance to think about it this year.

I'm very grateful that I get to go back to work after Christmas...and hit the ground running...it wards off the winter blues for me, and energizes me. When I was at home during mat leaves, this was always the worst time of year for me.
