Policies and rates are subject to change without notice.
Payment:
All prices are in Canadian dollars.
We currently accept payment by money order or credit card via PayPal. If you are
picking your order up at the store, you may pay with Visa or Mastercard, cash,
or cheque.
If you are paying by money order, your order will be processed as soon as
payment is received. Send your invoice page along with your money order (in
Canadian funds) to Rhubarb Roots, Box 1434, Altona, MB, R0G 0B0.
If you are paying by PayPal, your order will be packaged within 2 business days
of when we receive your payment. You will receive an email confirmation of
your payment when you place your order as well as an email
notification when we have shipped it. If your shipping address differs
from your billing address (as reported via PayPal) your order may be cancelled.
US and foreign customers should be aware that shipped parcels can often take six
to eight weeks to arrive from Canada. All orders are shipped promptly, but may
be delayed clearing customs. Duty, taxes and brokerage charges may be applied
to your order by your government. Please contact your government's customs
officials if you require further information.
Shipping:
Most orders will be shipped within two business days of receiving payment. If
any shipping delays occur, we will notify you by email to let you know when
your shipment will be sent.
All orders are shipped by Expedited Parcel through Canada Post. We offer a flat
rate of $6.00 for all Canadian customers on orders under $150*.
Orders over $150 qualify for free shipping.
*International
addresses, oversized items or shipping to remote locations will be charged
actual shipping rates, at the descretion of Rhubarb Roots.
Customers in the Altona area are welcome to pick up their orders at the Rhubarb
Roots retail location at 67 - 2nd St NE, Altona, MB, during regular
business hours, or at a prearranged time.
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail.
Returns:
It is our primary concern that you receive excellent customer service and have a
pleasant shopping experience at Rhubarb Roots. If we have made an error in your
order, please contact us at customerservice@rhubarbroots.com
so that we can address the problem.
We make every effort to keep our ordering system accurate and up to date. In the
event that items you have ordered are out of stock, we will notify you as soon
as possible. At our discretion we will either refund your money for that item
or (at your request) substitute that item for another.
Should your order not meet your expectations, we will gladly refund or exchange
any unused and unopened packages that are returned within 10 business days of
receipt. Returned items must be in their original packages. Please contact us

prior to returning the item.There are no returns on paper or items without
packaging. Rhubarb Roots is not responsible for any shipping fees you incur.
Taxes:
All Canadian residents are charged the Canadian Goods and Services Tax (GST) of
5%. U.S. and International residents are not charged this tax. We are not
responsible for any taxes or duties or fees imposed on your package by your
government.
Residents of the province of Manitoba are charged 7% sales tax.
Product Descriptions, Pricing and Photographs:
While all effort is made to be accurate in depicting the information on this
site, Rhubarb Roots cannot be held liable for any unintentional
misrepresentation and reserves the right to make price changes and corrections
to the site at any time. If a discrepancy occurs between the price listed on
the website and the price listed in our computer data base, the price in the
computer data base shall be deemed to be correct. In Stock quantities
are not guaranteed as orders may occur simultaneously between our website and
retail location. We will inform you of any out of stock items prior to shipping
your order.
Images may not be displayed at actual size. Due to many factors influencing
colour correctness, images online are intended only as a fair representation
and may vary from the actual product.
Privacy:
Your privacy is very important to us. Any information that we gather about you,
in order to provide you with quality customer service and a pleasant shopping
experience, remains private. We do not share any information about you with any
other company or person unless legally required to do so.
Site Members:
Views and comments posted by members on our forum or throughout our site are
strictly personal opinions and are not necessarily endorsed by Rhubarb Roots.
The forum will be monitored for coarse and inappropriate language. Posting
priveleges will be removed if deemed necessary by site administrators. We do
not allow for the posting of links to competing businesses and will remove any
listed in any area of the site. We respect the large competitive base existing
in the scrapbooking market and will always do our best to remain competitive in
